The Wellness Sandbox
Take Control of Your Health
Healthcare workers can provide you with services and education to improve your health, but it is up to you to live in a manner that promotes lifelong wellness. This website aims to connect you with support, education, and resources to move forward on your wellness path.
What is wellness?
Wellness is the sense that one is living in a manner that permits consistent, balanced growth in the physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, social, and psychological dimensions of human existence. Wellness is the constant practice of remaining healthy. When we neglect any component of our wellness, we fail to optimize the potential to lead a life of good health.
Practicing Wellness During COVID-19
Our current global climate has introduced stressors that challenge our ability to practice wellness. However, it may also allow us the time to reflect on what is truly important in life. Explore the library within this website for various wellness resources. Dr. David Hanscom has a great free resource covering a diverse range of topics related to maximizing your resiliency despite COVID-19. Access his materials here by signing up for his email list at the bottom of the page.
